1. Participating in this Unlock Digital Transformation (Promotion) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions (Terms). Information explaining how to participate is part of these Terms. Participation is not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
2. This Promotion starts at 9am AEDT 8 June 2023 and ends at 4 pm AEDT 9 June 2023.
3. This Promotion is open to registered attendees (Eligible Participants) who attend the Digital Transformation Live event at Sydney International Convention Centre on 8 and 9 June 2023 (Event), but not including employees of CBSA or a related body corporate or vendors at the Event.
4. The Prize is valued at $1000. The potential total prize pool value is $2000.
5. During the Digital Transformation Live Event, Eligible Participants are welcome to attempt to guess the 4-pin code to the lockbox holding the prize. If an Eligible Participant correctly guesses the pin to open the box, they win the prize within. If an Eligible Participant wins the prize, they may not participate in the promotion again.
6. The Prize is not exchangeable or transferable.
7. CBSA’s decision is final and binding and will not enter into any correspondence.
8. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is incapable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated for any reason, including technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, CBSA may, in its sole discretion and to the extent the law permits:
(a) disqualify any Eligible Participant; or
(b) subject to any regulatory authority’s written directions, modify, suspend, terminate or cancel this Promotion, as appropriate.
9. CBSA takes its commitment to ethical behaviour seriously. The Eligible Participant warrants its participation will not contravene any code of conduct, anti-bribery or procurement policies of any organisation it is employed by, or contracted to, or is agent for. If CBSA reasonably suspects an Eligible Participant’s Entry is or may be a contravention, and the Participant is unable to demonstrate the organisation’s consent, CBSA may disqualify its Entry.
10. CBSA may accept errors and omissions at its sole discretion and its failure to enforce any of its rights does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
11. The Eligible Participant that wins the Prize consents to CBSA using her/his name, likeness, image and/or voice in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purposes of promoting this Promotion.
12. CBSA collects personal information to conduct the Promotion and communicate with Eligible Participants and it may disclose that information to third parties, including marketing agencies and service providers for that purpose. It may publish information about Prize recipients as stated in these terms.
13. CBSA manages any personal information it collects subject to its Privacy Policy available at CBSA Privacy Policy which contains access, correction and complaint process details.
14. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, CBSA (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential for any loss or damage arising in connection with this Promotion including any:
(a) technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under CBSA’s control);
(b) theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
(c) change in Prize value to that stated in these Terms;
(d) tax liability incurred by the Prize winner; or
(e) the winner’s use of the Prize.
15. All references to currency are in Australian dollars and exclude GST.
16. These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its Courts.
